One page per class, newest at the top of your teacher’s list: the agenda we followed and anything to do before next time. If you were away, start here — then try the thinking task before reading anything else about it. The page holds the plan; the discoveries happen at the boards.
Our semester runs in four units:
- Unit 1 — Functions and Transformations: what a function is, one recipe that moves every graph, and inverses — curated in The Transformation Gallery.
- Unit 2 — Exponential Functions: growth that multiplies, exponent laws rebuilt from scratch, and real data modelled in Double or Nothing.
- Unit 3 — Trigonometric Functions: exact ratios, two laws, and the wave — tested against real water in The Tide Problem.
- Unit 4 — Discrete Functions and Your Financial Future: sequences, series, and the mathematics of money in Your Financial Future — then the whole course on the wall at The Functions Symposium.
